Kevin has spent more than 15 years studying the science of clock management and game day decision making processes.  The majority of this research is based  on NFL performance, but many of the data points and resulting decisions have proven effective at every level of the game.

Some the groundbreaking research initiatives Kevin has been involved in include:

  • Clock Management in a variety of situations, and the Game Day decisions which provide the highest probability of success

  • Salary Cap analysis: percentage of cap spent by teams at individual positions, position groups, units and whole teams

  • Salary Cap analysis: Cap spending factors and differences between most successful and least successful clubs (10-yr study)

  • 4th Down Decision Making: win probability of available decisions, in specific situations, at specific times - (15-yr study, 1.1 million snaps)

  • FG, PAT and 2-pt Attempts: trends and effect on scoring (ongoing)

  • Sacks: every sack, every year - concentration on effectiveness of each rush move (ongoing)

  • Forced Fumbles: every FF, every year - concentration on how and why fumbles are forced (ongoing)

  • Interceptions: every INT, every year - concentration on defensive system analysis as it results in INT (ongoing)
